Trip to Dandeli

Field trips are fun! You get to put down the books and pencils to a new location with interesting things to see and experience. Such an experience is been received by our students of STD 9th and 10th as Educational Tour to DANDELI (Canal visit, Bison River Resort, Syntheri Rock).

The objectives were discussed with the students. They were as follows

• To know the Eco-friendly practices(like water harvesting, conservation of flora & fauna) prevalent in those areas.
• Natural formation of rocks.
• Canal water used for irrigation.
• Development of tourism helps in national economy.

It was a memorable experience for most of the students as study was outside the regular classroom. Every student experienced a different way of gaining knowledge from the places they visited and went back home in a happy and cheerful mood with sweet memories to remember.

It was truly “Learning while having fun”.
