Academics

Learning is the school’s core purpose and its commitment to building learning power ensures that our students develop and exercise those learning muscles that will enable them to be confident, independent and successful lifelong learners. During their time with us, our students become aware of their own preferred learning styles and develop new skills to aid independent study. They are expected to become resilient and reflective learners and to practise reciprocal and resourceful learning strategies intuitively.

In addition to achieving good grades in public examinations, our students learn to contribute effectively to team work and to take responsibility as leaders. With small classes and through the experience and motivation of highly- qualified teachers, we aim to bring out the best in all our students.

Focus on teacher-centric instruction reduces students to passive recipients of knowledge. Traditional teaching is a one-way street, where teachers teach and students learn by rote. Hence, we create an environment in which students are systematically encouraged to continually seek their own learning. Our teachers play the role of "facilitators".

Students are assigned individual projects in their areas of specific intelligence to develop and hone their skills and respective intelligences.

Apart from regular learning in all disciplines, the School provides following Clubs for creative learning:

Students are given the opportunity of acquiring digital fluency and are encouraged to go beyond accessing information. Computers are used to learn and develop multimedia skills like producing music, videos, animation and robotics.
